Description: AK-E7016 is a low hydrogen alkaline electrode for all positional welding with excellent welding properties, like good slag detachability and beautiful weld appearance, suitable for short arc welding.

Application: Used to weld the Marine steels (A、B、D、E、AH36、DH36 EH36)and other same grade strength structures, like vehicles, bridges, constructions, etc.

C:0.15    Si:0.75    Mn:1.6    S:0.035     P:0.035   

Ni:0.030     Mo:0.30     Cr:0.020     V:0.08

Typical Mechanical Properties(%): 

Tensile strength (MPa) : 490-660

Yield Stress (MPa) :  ≥400

Elongation (%) :  ≥17

Impact values (J)  :  ≥47J/-30℃

Recommended welding parameters: 

2.5mm:  F/H-70-110A         V/OH-50-80A

3.2mm:  F/H-100-140A       V/OH-80-110A

4.0mm:  F/H-140-180A       V/OH-130-170A
