Description: AKD437 is a surfacing electrode with low hydrogen coating.
Application: Used for surfacing welding that requires high hardness and high wear resistance under high temperature conditions. Mainly used in metallurgical industrial systems.
Typical Chemical Composition(%):
C:0.8 P:0.030 S:0.030 V:4.0 Cr: 15.0 Ni: 15.0
Recommended welding parameters:
3.2mm: 350mm 90-120A
4.0mm: 400mm 150-180A
5.0mm: 400mm 180-210A
Notes on usage:
1. The electrode must be baked at 300-350℃ for 1 hour before welding.
2. Rust, oil, moisture and other sundries on the weldment must be removed before welding.
